Brief info

Mónica López Golán holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, and a Master’s degree and Ph.D. in Communication and Creative Industries from the University of Santiago de Compostela. She worked for more than 15 years as a television producer for Gestmusic Endemol S.A.U. and Compañía de Radio y Televisión Pública de Galicia, among other companies. She is currently a doctoral research assistant at the Department of Sociology and Communication and the academic secretary of the Faculty of Communication Sciences at the University of A Coruña. Her lines of research focus on the analysis of media management and financing, and the transparency and accountability of organizations. She is a member of the following R+D+i research projects funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities: Public audiovisual media in the platform ecosystem: management models and evaluation of the public value of reference for Spain (VALCOMM) (2022-2024) and Innovation ecosystems in the communication industries: Actors, technologies and configurations for the generation of innovation in content and communication (INNOVACOM) (2022-2024).
